quinoa is said to be very nutritious and I’m developing a taste for quinoa since the time True Elements sent them to me. It has also motivated me to get fit and healthy and I’m religiously trying to do get healthier and fit. Its hard to stay away from binge eating and also was very difficult initially to walk and run for more than 15 minutes.But the feeling is great and i know I’m going to rock it. I love trying new recipes and working with modern ingredients was not easy for me. There is always this mind block that my end goal is record family recipes, but on the other hand i also want to try new things because you never know how these recipes may help inara 🙂
the last time i made a brownie with eggs and i’m back with popular demand with and egg less quinoa brownie.i used cooked quinoa here. i simply pressure cooked with two times more water for 4 whistles. i ground the quinoa to a paste because i wanted a smooth bite to it.
my next experiment is going to be quinoa mango sheera and upma.
- butter-60 grams
- dark chocolate-100 grams
- cooked quinoa-1/2 cup
- wholewheat flour-1/4 cup
- maida-2.5 tbsp
- curd-3.5 tbsp
- milk-4 tbsp
- baking powder- 1.5 tsp
preheat the oven
- Line a square cake tin with parchment paper
- Melt the butter and chocolate and reserve.
- Add the rest of the ingredients in a blender and grind to a smooth paste.
- Mix the paste and chocolate mixture and pour in the cake tin.
Bake until a skewer comes out clean.
